Competitive 11U–14U travel basketball focused on strong fundamentals, basketball IQ, teamwork, accountability, and long-term player development.
Building a Strong Foundation
The Nova Hoops Middle School program is designed for athletes who want to improve their game, compete against strong competition, and prepare for the next level of basketball.
Practices focus on skill development, decision-making, team concepts, defensive effort, and learning how to play the game the right way.
We maintain limited team rosters so our coaches can properly teach, evaluate, and develop each player.
What We Develop
Our goal is to develop well-rounded athletes who understand how to contribute to competitive teams.
Fundamentals
Ball handling, passing, shooting, footwork, finishing, and defense.
Basketball IQ
Reading the floor, making decisions, spacing, and understanding situations.
Team Play
Communication, unselfishness, defensive responsibility, and trust.
Accountability
Preparation, consistent effort, coachability, and being a good teammate.

Middle School Seasons
Nova Hoops offers two middle school seasons, providing athletes with consistent opportunities to develop and compete throughout the year.
Fall/Winter
Team practices, player development, and competitive tournament play throughout the fall and winter months.
Spring/Summer
Consistent development and tournament competition, concluding with our annual Las Vegas tournament in July.

Nova Hoops carefully selects well-run tournaments that provide dependable scheduling, organized competition, and an appropriate level of play for each team.
